About me

My name is Travis Forencich and I have been playing guitar for over 20 years, and working on my own instruments most of this time. After some disappointing experiences taking my own guitars to reputable shops, I realized I should just start doing the work myself. I’ve had many years of self taught experience, but also studied lutherie under local legend Charles Fox. I have a very detail-oriented attention, and I’ve felt that has applied to guitar work very well. As a player who has evolved through many styles of music, I recognize the variety of needs for different musicians, and I want to bring a level of personal service to each instrument to tailor it to the desires of the player.
